Sidlaw Hills Project

The Sidlaw Hills stretch east from Perth to the north east of Dundee, a distance of thirty miles. The landscape is not particularly dramatic with soft rolling hills, occasional grags and quiet little lochs, with the result that the hills have been largely overlooked. Yet man has inhabited the hills for thousands of years and so are rich in history. Most of the land is heavily farmed and has a considerable proportion of commercial woodland, however the hills are marvellous to be amongst and beauty is there to be found.
