George Logan Photography

I'm a Scottish based photographer/visual artist living between Perth and Blairgowrie, surrounded by the beautiful Scottish countryside, its stunning landscape and rich heritage. With the Sidlaw Hills to the South and the Grampian Hills with the southern boundary of the Cairngorms National Park to the North and with the River Tay on my doorstep.

I was a Commercial photographer for many years but have now decided to step back from that arena, though I still do take on the occasional job.

While I enjoyed the commercial photography my  Personal Projects take me on a different and exciting route, pursuing varied areas of visual and subject interest. I've kept the odd old commercial work and general landscape photography etc. on the site, however that type of work I now find much less interesting, photographically or sufficiently mentally challenging personally.

Increasingly my projects are becoming the basis for bookmaking, that will feature much more on the website in the future. Some books also being for sale.

I was posting on Twitter reasonably regularly but have since stopped (Oct 25) except now only for the odd link back to my blog. Past images and tweets can still be found with some interesting archaeological related threads. My tweets (no politics) can be found here: @57seoras
