This panorama shows the current Drumderg wind farm of 16 turbines with land to the east (right) showing two wind monitoring masts, anticipating planning consent for yet more turbines, that will stretch right across this panorama.
Drumderg can be seen over a considerably wide radius and even clearly from the far side of Perth, to the south west, nearly thirty miles away as the turbines are in such a prominent position within the Perthshire/Angus landscape. Yet more turbines would dominate the distant and near landscape considerably and detrimentally more. There have been many high profile objections, more details, here.

The panorama is from a low hill that has an extremely nice four poster (a type of stone circle), details here, note, it now has a fence around it.
